Make Up Policy

Should you miss a class due to illness, travel, doctor appointments, grandparents needing to be picked up at the airport, siblings home from school sick, PLEASE catch a make-up in one of my other classes. Feel free to drop in on the class, even if you do not get through to me on the telephone beforehand. I want families to be sure to get in as many of their classes they have paid for in each semester or quarter. I do rely on the honor system so I ask that you use this policy for those unavoidable things that come up and turn your day up-side-down as opposed to things like birthday parties, going to the park, going on an outing, etc.

This make-up policy will hopefully help you feel better about having to miss a class when your child is sick. It is important to stay home if your child is sick or coming down with something. This is now the season of Pertussis (whooping cough) and we have lots of new babies here or soon to be born. Knowing that you can catch a make-up means that you can still get all your classes in during a semester or quarter and get your money's worth! So, please, be sure to catch any make-ups you need.
